Carbon Neutral and Green Meetings are the way of the Future...

iCON Planners is committed in using environmentally friendly practices and follow Green Meeting strategies in the management of "Green" Conferences to achieve Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Green Meeting Strategies include:
• Liaising with venues that practice environmental movements, ie. Convention Centres
• iCON Planners continually assists in providing Hotels and meeting venues to be at close proximity of each other to limit the travelling for all delegates
• iCON use eco friendly suppliers, i.e. we use recyclable material, cloth, less plastic and universal pattern that can be used in all tracks/sessions!
• Conference Materials are recyclable, for example plastic badges are returned.
• Paper abstracts are downloaded onto CD's and waste is recycled
• Implementation of E-posters and E-papers
• The preferred method of registration is online to prevent wastage of paper
• Teleconferencing is highly favored to decrease gas emissions in travelling
